We have been fortunate enough to have Adam Pepper provide opportunities to enhance our curriculum at Brackensdale this year to support the children’s learning through film, drama techniques and emerging film-making apps!
His company, Silverscreen, was created to use digital technology to engage and energise children in their own literacy, history and geography studies, as well as building their self-confidence and self-esteem.
Using Adam’s experience as an actor to ‘perform’ and present for his audience, Adam uses carefully chosen film clips, imagery, music, texts and self-made movies to progress the children at pace through an exciting learning adventure.
From the dawn of the Stone Age to life in space, from the wilds of the Kenyan Savannah to the wreck of the Titanic, from chocolate factories to Narnia and beyond, the children at Brackensdale will have thier learning brought to life!
